So you don't think your Airbus fly-by-wire system
requires computers to work with it's relaxed static margin? Heck, even
your throttles aren't connected directly to the engine fuel controls. BTW,
your engine fuel controls are largely computers as well. None of those are
bad things, but you do indeed need computers to fly modern
airplanes.

Jeez, man... Lighten up... Just making light of the cpu
message. And you don't "need" computers to fly the Airbus. I tire easily of
this old argument... It's an airplane just like a Boeing... It's just more
automated, which makes my job a lot easier, and flying my Lancair on days off
that much better.
