I have the old style speed brakes = with the motor on the front of the gear box that winds up the cable. I haven't finished my airplane = yet.  I have=20 the old style speed brakes with the
motor on the front of the gear box that = winds up=20 the cable.
 
Can anyone confirm or deny rumors that = these are=20 unreliable and I should just
chuck them and buy the new = self-contained=20 units?
