I jumped out with my little cockpit halon bottle and found the nose wheel and strut were covered with flames. The halon instantly extinguished the flames and I squirted the rest up the slot behind the nose strut. Everything was cool so the fire did not re-ignite. The only damage was soot on the engine and mount. If I hadn't had the extinguisher, it would have been an entirely different story.
