In the early days of the
new control center at Edwards, we had problems with the fire suppression
system. It kept going off unexpectedly, flooding the control center (full
of computers) with Halon. We'd patiently sit through it. Our
instructions were to not move around rapidly, but to just sit still and relax
until it was purged. I don't _think_ it affected me
adversely.
