What we would like to do is to take some precautionary measures this time around.  Is it a good idea to put some sort of leading edge protective tape on the wings and horizontal stabilizer?  Is it unsightly? Is there any detrimental effect on speed? Can someone please point me in a direction of where we might source such a product? Berni Breen + Bill Hourin

I have used the 3M leading edge tape with great results.  I have used another brand which turned yellow.

3M can be found on page 131 of A C Spruce catalog  2004 / 2005.
