Ron -

Interesting observation: We just received our FA Form Bill of Sale from Lancair. It says that we have serial number ES-160! If they issued you the same number on your Bill of Sale, we have problems. Let me know what you have.

Our engine came with a Hall Effect tach sensor on the right mag. It looks like you can remove it without taking the mag off - although I have not tried to do it.

Best,

John

To everyone:

I need to remove a mag to install a tach sensor. Can someone point me in the
right direction. I have removed distributors on auto's many times and had no
problem reinstalling and timing. I just have no experience with airplane
mags. this is on a IO550N. I am kind of looking for a book like a chelton
for airplane enjines.

Thanks
