Ted mentioned the ventral fin and flap fences we've added to his IVP, and asked that I send along photos. Here are a couple.
Details on the ventral fin... 3/8" reinforced foam core covered by 4-bid CF each side. Dimensions... 48" long, 12" deep. I'm going to put the entire process on a webpage in the LML website attachment area over the next week for those who are interested.
The flap fences were built based on specifications from a NASA study... I don't have all the details handy, but can locate them and post a pointer to the report number if anyone is interested.
Disclaimer... these are enhancements added to Ted's IVP during the building phase and have not been flight tested as yet. I'm sure Ted will post performance details during the flight test phase.
