On arrival, we will meet and mill around the KBKL terminal and its International Women's Air & Space Museum displays. At 11:50 we will all walk next door to Hornblower's for our 12:00 lunch. Where: [14]Cleveland's pretty airport, [15]Burke Lakefront Airport, [16]BKL, and the Cleveland harbor. Meet in the terminal at the International Women's Air & Space Museum displays. At 11:50 we will walk off for Lunch at Hornblower's Barge & Grill. Why: For the fun of it and for a chance to check out the "other" plastic planes. Also, the Cleveland lakeshore attractions provide a better than usual excuse for a fly-in. Take advantage of the proximity of the USS COD, the William G Mather, the Science Center, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and downtown Cleveland. The only down side is BKL's $5.00 parking fee, it's a city thing :-( If you want to make a night of it, try the [17]Holiday Inn Select City Centre Lakeshore, just a short walk from everything. RSVP: Please send e-mail to [18]Rob stating how many will be joining us for lunch. _________________________________________________________________ Contacts [19]Marty Weinhous (SR22) [20]http://marty.rob.com/ O: 216-444-1938 H: 440-247-8076 [21]Rob Logan (Legacy 2000) [22]http://www.logan.com/rob/flying.html O: 440-483-4373 H: 440-449-9344 _________________________________________________________________ References 1. http://rob.com/pix/marty-tippfi-2003 2. http://www.cirrusdesign.com/ 3. http://www.lancair.com/ 4. http://www.100dollarhamburger.com/bkl.html 5. http://www.iwasm.org/ 6. http://www.usscod.org/ 7. http://www.glsc.org/ 8. http://www.glsc.org/visit/omnimax.php?id=2 9. http://www.glsc.org/visit/omnimax.php?id=4 10. http://www.glsc.org/visit/omnimax.php 11. http://wgmather.nhlink.net/ 12. http://www.rockhall.com/ 13. http://www.lollytrolley.com/ 14. http://www.city.cleveland.oh.us/index1.html 15. http://www.clevelandairport.com/burke/bkl.asp 16. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KBKL 17. http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/clels?irs=null 18. mailto:rob@logan.com 19. mailto:weinhous@radonc.ccf.org 20. http://marty.rob.com/ 21. mailto:rob@logan.com 22. http://www.logan.com/rob/flying.html
