This web site shows current METARs and TAFs decoded and presented in the best
compact format I have seen.  

The default is California airports, but you can easily customize it to show all
airports within a  radius of your home field.

It was written and is maintained by Dan Checkoway, a most capable RV builder.

It is well worth a look.
