Provides a nice flat area in the baggage area, and provides hatches to store stuff in on the pilot side. My copilot side is full of equipment like ELT, AHRS, 42ft3 O2 cylinder, video switching unit, and ESS batt. It would be a mess without the floor. I highly suggest the floor. I guess it depends on what you have in the plane, where you plan to put it, and what you plan to use the baggage area for.
