I have the ACK ELT and their antenna. Their instructions say to mount it 5' from other antennas with a 6-pole 18" radius (36" diameter) ground plane. I do not a location that meets those requirements! Questions for those who have mounted the antenna. What did you use for the antenna? Where did you mount it? What kind of ground plane did you use?
