Ray,
Here's an idea someone else told me
about to cure vapor lock. If you know you'll be starting up again when the
engine's hot, try shutting down by turning the fuel off at the selector
valve. That way there's no fuel left in the lines to get hot. Then
when you're ready to start, open the throttle and mixture and run cold fuel up
to the fuel servo with the boost pump.
Don't know if this would help, but the
guy who told me about this technique swears by it.
