I
believe that the flap rods are actually 5/16" rather than 3/8". I got
these from Vern last year. You'll need new F35-14 rod end bearings (4) and
checknuts (4) as well as the rods (2). Seems to me that it was in the
$40-60 range at the time to do the upgrade.

I did a search on the archives and nothing popped
up, but I seem to recall a thread on upgrading the 1/4" flap push rod on the
320/360 to 3/8". I'm doing my annual on my 320 and find that I have the
1/4" rod (I didn't build my plane). Can someone either point me to or
give me the scoop on changing out the flap rod? Is this a part I can
order from Vern or do I have to make it?
