I opted to = increase the rudder height to match the vertical stab resulting from = installing the Mk II tail. Added all the lead in the counterweight area = as opposed to the rudder leading edge (terrible moment arm there). Much = better solution with longer moment arm. It still weighed a lot but I = did not weigh it. It didn't matter. You need to balance it anyway and = what are you going to do about it if it weighs 100 lbs? It must be = balanced.
