I may have missed the previous mail but I have the
Airflow performance boost pump and in line filter under the LH seat pan.
Plenty of room there. (The RH side has the wing leveller servo)
My fuel line runs forward from the pump/filter assembly to the fuel transducer
for the fuel flow instrument. This is just forward of the main spar, up
against the nose gear tunnel, right in the corner. You cannot get your
feet on it and I have hidden it behind a fibreglass moulding. From there
through a bulkhead fitting to the gascloator which is on the LH side of the
firewall as low as I can get it. Works like a charm. Fuel burn is
accurate to about 1/2gallon in 42. So the transducer is not affected by
its proximity to the pump.
Maybe I missed something so the above is
meaningless, but anyhow you now know what I know which is way ahead of Donald
Rumsfeld. (With apologies to Scott Krueger)
