Weather report....68deg in the workshop and -11 outside! Yikes!

From an ease of maintenance point of view, it would seem the best location for any boost pump and inline filter would be on the cockpit floor, but of course, there is no room with all the other crud mounted there. Mounting on the aft firewall presents some challenging maintenance issues indeed.
So the question is, am I asking for trouble by trying to mount everything on the forward firewall? Space, not to mention heat seem to be the main issues.

Have any of you managed to squeeze the AirFlow Performance Boost pump and inline filter together with an Andair gascolator on the firewall? Any photos together with advice/suggestions would be much appreciated.
