Ric, My Facet Pumps have 675 hrs and go semi-dry (bubbles in polyurathane transfer lines) when the wing tanks are pumped down. Pumps are under the seats and each pump pumps from a wing tank thru seperate lines to the day tank at a combined constant rate of .70 gpm for 43 minutes, 30 gal total. No vapor locks or failures todate. Keep the day tank between 5 & 11 gal, a high level capacitance idiot light to keep from pumping overboard. A complete electrical failure, skinny the power back, grab the hand held radio and land in a half hour. No gauges, no meters.. KISS Don Skeele 320J 235/0-320
