I also have one... I don't think I've ever found an airplane once
it goes off... it goes off sometimes when ATC doesn't call
traffic, and it doesn't go off when when they do...

May has a mode S transponder that displays traffic on a garmin 430,
and I DO see all traffic it reports... and I tally traffic
ATC doesn't call... not bad for a $2k delta... Marty has ~$28k
SkyWatch that works outside class B just as well as mode S, but
at a price..

the Monroy is a good "get your head up" reminder, not much more.
