Don't connect it to the cowl. Put a "flange" on the rear of the cowl inlets
and also on the forward part of the plenum inlets. Then use large SCAT
(4"?) to connect the two. It works very well. Allow about 1" between the
two flanges.

I have built a glass plenum for my lancair 235/320.
The problem is the connection from the plenum nozzles to the cowl
