Lorn -

Check this page out. There are two laser protractors and let me know if this is what you had in mind. I could not find the "Laser Protractor" on the Sears site. This company beats the Sears price on a laser level (PLS Model PLS2) by $55

Cheers,

John

I need to buy a digital level. Does anyone know where I might purchase one? I can't find one anywhere on the Internet except Sears for $200 but I have to mail order it and it may take 7 to 10 days.

TIA

I guess that I really don't want a Laser Level. What I want is something that I put on a ruler that is across the cockpit and it reads the angle. That angle should be 0 degrees. If the angle is not 0 degrees, I would like to push a button and have the "level" consider that new angle to be 0 degrees. Next I want to go under the airplane and put the "level" against the landing gear and give me a reading relative to the horizontal reading that we just took but off by 90 degrees. Then I will adjust my gear legs to be 90 degrees relative to the relatively horizontal airplane.

I think what Sears is selling is what I want. Sears calls it a Laser Protractor. The price is sounding better all of the time, since I can't find another one. The problem with the Sears product is that it can only be ordered on line and Sears has very slow shipping. Actually the shipping isn't what is slow. It is the packing that takes 2 to 3 days.

Back to my original question, Are there any other Laser Protractors, or whatever they are called, made? If there are, how do I get in touch with the manufacturer?

What are these devices called? Apparently a Laser Level is not what I want.

Thanks Again,
