Well, I can tell you where NOT to mount it:  1) inside the starboard air intake mounted on the aluminum baffling, or 2) inside the lower plenum engine air intake near the air filter (attached to aluminum cover plate).  I have tried both areas, and both chronically read way too hot (by at least 15deg F) once the engine is running.  Look elsewhere.
