Thanks for the input. I looked for posts on the website and did not find any. That is why I wrote up what I did to troubleshoot. It is good to know that I may have found the problem. I went ahead and ordered a new pump from Lancair and sent the old one back to have it rebuilt. I will post the results on the site. That way it may help someone else with the same problem.

Ray, my hanger partner had the exact same problem that you have described.He also had an air leak in his Dukes pump. Duke fixed it and his problem was gone. I had my Dukes overhauled by them at 9 years. It cost slightly more than a new pump, but work a lot better. Sincerely, Fred Baron LNC2 9BF
