A few builders I know of have used hinges to attach their wingtips to their
kit projects with very nice results.

Art Bertolina has been kind to share photos of his installation so that this
application can be available to the rest of us who want to take advantage of
new and better ideas for building our planes.  This can be done as a
retrofit as well as a new installation.

Using Carbinge to rid the plane of rows of screws on the wingtips and
strengthen the attachment makes a lot of sense.
