Other than adding a non-certified BMA EFIS-ONE which initially will only be another large GPS moving map and attitude indicator, you really only have a back-up system.  You would only initially  engage the BMA auto-pilot only at high-altitude until you can feel confident of its consistancy with ONE HAND   on the disconnect button. Most pilots feel this way even when they fly a certified system for the first few inital times, anyway and gain confidence. All my steam guages are electric with the idea that the total system primary and back-up are electric with a back-up 20 amp B/M alternator hopefully for better mean-time between failure on both systems at a very reasonable cost.  Is this not why we are wanting to fly experimentals anyway??.
