It has WSI weather and WX500 Stormscope on it. So far, I am very satisfied with the WSI. However, I am having an awful time getting the Stormscope to work properly. Keeps getting big noise spot in about 5 o'clock position at 150 mile scale. Thought it was antenna--------tried new antenna. Thought it was strobes------turned them and nav lights off. Still having the problem. Also have issue of error message that states "test strikes not received from antenna". Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion? I spoke with a Lancair Columbia owner who had just installed MX20's with the WX500 and he reported the same problem. It is starting to aggravate and get expensive to chase. Any advice, suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
