Jerry, have you actually seen any of the "wide variety of aircrafts"? Have you personally spoken to any of the owners or pilots?  At OSH 2002 several people made the statement that they "knew" that the Blue Mountain System was flying in dozens of aircrafts.  So I started looking for someone, anyone, who owned such an aircraft.  No luck.  Then I started looking for someone who personally knew such an owner.  No luck. Then I started looking for anyone who had personally seen the system in an aircraft.  Still, no luck.  I followed many leads of "I know Mr. xxxx has seen one"  However when I talked with Mr. xxxx I invariably got the answer "I know it is flying.  I have not seen it personally, but I believe Mr. yyyy has seen it"   My conclusion was that back then BMA system flying in "a large number of aircrafts" was a myth perpetuated by the company.  With that history in mind, I would strongly suggest you talk to a few of these owner who are actually flying.  With a large numbers of aircrafts flying, I doubt you will have a problem finding a few near you.

As for production rates, I doubt that BMA is anywhere near Chelton. Once again, I would suggest talking to some of these people who these systems are shipping to.

Let me end with the disclaimer that along with Brent, I am one of the key designers of the Chelton system and hence biased towards it.

Hamid
