You are right.  Everyone should do whatever they need and are
comfortable with.  I am not taking away from anyone at all and their
experience and desires.  I am just stating my opinion.  Someday I may
add to my ratings with an instrument rating but I hope to continue the
discipline to not "need" it but to "enjoy" it for what it can add to the
flying experience.

I have truly loved building my airplane.  It has added another dimension
to the overall experience of aviaiton.  For me it really is only hobby,
convenient, and pleasureable.  Such should be the future.

I think it's a good thing for each pilot to operate within his "comfort
zone" for safety reasons.<<<
