This might be a dumb question:  Does it matter if the antenna is "upside
down?"  Seems to me it would be easier to put a ground plane on the floor
and then put the antenna on top, inverted from the normal position.  Or
would that reverse the field shown on the screen.  I can see that
transponder antennas would like to look down, but maybe not the stormscope.
