On a lighter note, the Charlotte County (PGD) Airshow will be happening
this weekend:March 27-28. Some top shelf performers will be in
attendance...Sean Tucker, Northern Lights, Military flybys (rumor has a B-2
flyby on Sunday).  The Thunderbirds, perennial favorites, declined to
attend this year unless we re-paved the runway (they get so picky
sometimes), but attempts to contract the Blue Angels for next year are in
the works. It's a good prelude to Sun N' Fun.  Check notams for airport
closure, and show times.  Charlotte County Airport (aka Punta Gorda) is
located on the Gulf Coast of Florida just south of Sarasota International,
