Does anyone out there run an O-290-D2 in a 235? My question relates to
all of the conflicting information I get about compression ratio and
fuel. I am told that the compression should be raised to 9:1 in order
to burn 100LL without the valve problems. Has anyone heard of this
happening? The engine shop that is redoing my motor has told me that
this is untrue, and about the only thing I would have to stay on top of
is the plugs (every 50 hours or so).
