You mark the holes though the lite-fixture, then drill for the nutplates. Then with an appropriate tool, remove any foam or whatever where the nutplates will go. Slide the nutplates back behind the fiberglass, then pop=rivet them in place with the nutplate pop=rivets available from Skybolt Aeromotive.
