I just ordered 9.5:1 pistons from Lycon. I decided to be a bit more conservative than the 10:1 they recommend. What did you do to your timing to get comfortable with such a higher compression ratio? As for horsepower, I'll be happy if I just have my stock 200 hp. I've been flying with half a cam lobe on the rear intake, and have probably been giving up quite a bit of power. My cylinders are currently ported and polished, with a grand total of about 75 hours on them since overhaul. But since my engine was making metal, it is questionable whether or not they can be rehoned. I am planning to just put in new cylinders - not ported nor polished. I am kinda gun-shy now, having just sunk a ton of money in that is being thrown away. I wonder what I will give up without the port and polish, but again, I think I'll be perfectly happy with the stock hp if I can just get that...
