In a previous mail, someone said Mark M. suggested rigging the ailerons so that they are both slight up when the stick is neutral. There were replies that this does ease stiffness.  I removed the nut from the rear of the aileron torque and have a gap between the tube and the bearing block. Regards. Dave.
