I had a big gap at both ends that i ended up filling back in with micro once
you build the flange (see pic). When i bonded in the aluminum tube to
stiffen the gear doors i used shot bags on the ends of the doors to
straighen them.

We have fit problems on our main gear doors for our IVP. The attached
photos
show the details. The fundamental problem, I believe, is that both the
doors
and fuselage are not flat in the gear door area. We have a fast build kit
