Lee, The racers arrive on Monday the 28th. This conflicts with the Lancair dinner which is usually the following Saturday. Also, I believe the war bird element of the show is usually better on the weekend. The arrival is straight forward the few times I've flown it. You would prefer to study it much before you go however to allow 90% outside scan. The Lancairs, when I did it, were permitted to land on 36 while most others were sent to 9/27. Thus, the traffic to the runway was not too busy. On the other hand, the racers get to fly the Warbird (modified) Arrival and only have themselves with which to conflict. Email Eric Whyte and join us for the race if you want the easy arrival.
