It was his plane that had this done to it. It wasn�t until I started flying other IV-Ps I realized Charlie�s plane doesn�t make all that nose on the take off roll. When I asked him about it he explained how he had built a baffling box into the firewall cross brace (not sure if that is what it is called) for the incoming air go through before entering the cabin.
