One final thought about the drag caused by both the designs we have been talking about.
I thought that if I could get a Scoop with or without the condenser and I could make a flat plate with a 6 in. hole with attached hose and blower. Then Charlie and I could hold them by hand out of my Lexus's Sunroof flat against the roof, of course. Have a driver go to maybe 100 mph and see which one we would like to hold on to, or let go?
Let's take a pole from the AC folks out there. Maybe we will find a volunteer to hold these test pieces.
I went for a flight yesterday in 86* OAT on the ground and 3 folks on board. I had to have the AC on Full for the 1:20 flight. I thought it wasn't cooling like in the past but the passengers thought it was fine. I'm still looking for more cooling. Without the scoop though.
