Can't comment on the wisdom of
Tao, but I can guarantee one treatment that will go farther toward eliminating
RFI than any other step. Repeat as your mantra "Single Point
Ground." Go directly to Bob Nuckolls' web site, thence to B&C
electrics (do not pass Go) and get yourself a copy of his "forest of
tabs." Bring every ground wire, that's every ground
wire, to that grounding block and you will advance significantly
toward clarity and enlightenment. Resist the temptation to bunch 'em
together in the empennage, then go to the grounding block. Every ground
wire. Single point ground.
Your E.I. fuel gauges will still
go nuts when you transmit, but that's another issue.
