A gallon was priced at about $16 but shipping would add a good 10 bucks or so because it's considered hazardous. I found that I could buy 5 gallons of it from Priest Chemical (I think) in Seattle for just $35.00 (a little over $40 after tax). To top it off, the salesman was willing to drop it off at Galvin Aviation at Boeing field so all I had to do was give him credit card data and pick the stuff up next time I flew in to Seattle - no shipping charges!! Below is the address and phone number of the manufacturer. They can tell you where to buy it in your area. By the way, I must have almost 4 gallons of it left and would gladly sell a gallon or two for about $12 per if someone close needs it. I don't think that shipping it is anything I want to do so it'll have to go to someone who's in the Seattle or Olympic Peninsula area. By the way, I was told that actually the stuff is pretty cheap to make, but the narrow market and the high shipping costs is what makes it dear for you and me. Tarr,Inc 2429 N. Borthwick Portland, OR92227 800 422 5069 On another topic, I'm sure impressed with John Herminghauses idea of putting the parts list in Excel. I wish I'd heard about it before, John. I've got under 20% of parts left to deal with and they are pretty managable now. Anyone building the IVP would be wise to put the FIREWALL STIFFENING RIBS in early - prior to putting in the rudder pedals, and maybe even the hydraulic and fuel lines as well. I've got all that and the S-Tec roll servo installed and access is a bitch. You won't find this step until you look in the back of the interior panel section - about 10 chapters or more after it ought to be done. John Barrett
