This is the company that Joe Bartels & Mike Custard formed to build air conditioning systems for the Lancair IV-P. There are pictures of the engine driven compressor and also of the electric motor driven compressor (used in the turbine per Joe). You will also see a typical mounting of the condensor and evaporator. Some of the pictures you see are of Joe's airplane. I just received my system today from Kit Components, so if you have any specific questions, they will have to wait until I get into the installation. Looks pretty straight forward, but I'm sure "Murphey" is in one of the boxes somewhere! One thing I did notice that Joe had done to his plane was to turn the condensor 90 degrees from the way it is shown in the photos. His position would appear to get a more direct blast of air from the NACA scoop in the tail and provide better cooling. With the A/C, you don't connect the NACA duct to the cabin - the only penetration in the top rear bulkhead is for the A/C hoses. Let me know if you have any questions.
