Jim, why couldn't you do this if they are mounted on the gear?  Pix of
mine are at http://www.lancaironline.net/pix/shannon-may03  look for
lights.  I don't see any reason I couldn't do a wig wag?  At least until
I raised the gear anyway.  I guess you are thinking that they are needed
more on takeoff than on landing?

I have decided to add both the wing mounted and landing gear mounted
lights to my Legacy.  My reasoning for the wing mounted lights is that I
want to run my pulse lights during climb and decent and in the airport
traffic area for collision avoidance.  I couldn't do this if the lights
were mounted on the gear.
