MAKE SURE you check your fuel flow for takeoff power. Don't assume the factory set it right, because they probably didn't. I haven't heard of one set right yet. You want your fuel plenty high, with the red line fuel being the LOW limit. You can always lean. I think Ron Brice had this problem with his 550 in his Legacy, just like Carl did. My TIT in climb was 1515-1530 which is too hot. Too lean of fuel at 2500 rpm and 30'5". Fuel flow was 25.5 gph in climb. 3. I assumed the factory timing and fuel set up was correct. Bad assumption.
