Hi gang,
Well, we managed to get Ted's panel installed... twice. First time let us locate the rubs and interferences, and after straightening out all that needed straightening, the second installation was the one. It's officially a panel, it's powered up, and after doing some initial testing, I'm proud to report that there was only one little wiring problem to be fixed. Given the number of terminations and amount of wire in there, I'm ecstatic about the way it turned out. Today I'll get most of it routed and tied in place and it'll be on to getting ready for that first engine start. Still some interior stuff to do as well, but nothing compared to what's been accomplished thus far. My hands look like they've spent the last week in a bag of cats, but teeny scars are a badge of honor, aren't they? <G>
So much for the report, on to the real reason for this post... we've got the SFS fired up (and the GPS-35 managed to capture enough satellites in the garage to let us know that we are really in Maitland!) but need to install some basic data in the setup mode. Could someone out there currently flying a IVP with a Sierra installation please post the v-speeds that you're using so we have a starting point for Ted's system? Any and all data you'd like to include will be appreciated, and you can leave out the engine stuff, as we've got that Eagle540 in there and so that data will have no relevance to our engine installation. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
