Glad to see everything working out as you become one with your plane. Existentially speaking, of course.
You must move into the modern age and rid yourself of that mechanical tach. One can obtain a simple Hall device which screws into the Magneto vent hole and a digital display for the counts. That mechanical tach is stealing horsepower you will need at Suffolk.
