Dan:- Thanks for the congratulations.  A great time was had by all!  To your questions.  The weight of the 300hp is not yet determined but it should be around 500 
lbs with alternator and starter.  Since the engine is turbocharged it will lose power gradually above 10,000feet and should deliver around 60 percent of rated output at 
30,000 feet.  Critical start altitude has not yet been determined.  The engine is single lever control with fixed pitch.  There is no mixture control.  We use a mechanical 
fuel system with a programmable low speed governor for idle control.  Please let me know if you need more info.   Regards,  Carl Bumpurs
