It's now May 2003 and have just passed the 1,000 hour mark. Zero airframe or system problems since the beginning. Still flies GREAT! Besides having to overhaul the carbeurator early on, a low-compression cylinder that had to be overhauled at 850 hours, and a couple of magneto glitches (including one overhauled at 900 hours) , this plane has been as reliable as a factory built aircraft. Still love it!
One interesting note: My B&C Specialty electrictical system has been fabulous. I have 6 years and 1,000 hours on the battery. Going to chicken out on the battery, though, and will replace it during the upcoming annual this August.
