Angier asks about locating the starter relay by the battery box.   I placed mine
(lancair 360) against the pilot's side main spar and used one post as the
positive junction for panel power.  I figure this minimizes large cable length
required.  I was also trying to bring as many components as possible to the
protected side of the firewall to minimize heat cycling and prolong life.  I
also placed a negative junction nearby for the panel and engine grounding.  The
downside to locating this stuff inside is that it is crowded inside the cockpit.
