That actually sounds like a great idea. What about weight, and noise level?
I assume you just took your plane to one of the places that performs the

[ the weight is lighter or about the same depending on what type
of carpet and padding one uses. it takes a new spray tip but
its not hard to do your self... but for sound I would imagine
carpet absorbs more energy but I don't know....  -Rob ]
