Subject: when to paint?

I see several posts about not painting until flown for some time. I thought I would support painting first. I had mine painted first and didn't have any problems that would have required major repaint. I think the other problem of completely disassembling of your flying airplane and not flying it for some time, maybe months, is a much bigger issue to me. After flying mine for 1.5 years there are a couple of small things showing that I really wouldn't have seen if it were in primer anyway and I didn't see the first thing until after 75 hrs.
Keep in mind that this is not a One off prototype airplane but a known, almost production repeated airplane and shouldn't need that much outside rework, (in my humble opinion).
This is not a right or wrong issue but it worked for me.
