For wire labels, buy some
yellow or white shrink tubing. Write the label you want with a Sharpie,
preferably on two sides, slip in on and shrink it. Makes an easily
readable, permanent label.
An alternate method is to use
clear shrink tubing. Print your labels in a small font on your computer,
cut the strips out and slip them inside the shrink tubing, then shrink them in
place. This a little more tedious, but you can make really small labels
that are still easily readable.
